Designs on Metal

Environmental portrait photography

As part of our recent Artisan project we were privileged enough to spend a morning with Nigel and Kev (pictured) from Designs on Metal.

Walking into their forge was like stepping back in time, most of the processes they use there haven’t changed in decades.

We loved all of the images from the shoot but the one that took us most by surprise was the sparks from the hammer, no one expected such an explosion of hot metal, even the metalworkers themselves were shocked!
