Sizzix Big Shot campaign
Lifestyle photography
In a new direction for this client Sizzix asked us to put together a two day lifestyle photoshoot to promote their Big Shot range of craft machines. They tasked us with finding models to represent the entire family, from the young daughter right up to grandma as well as sourcing a beautiful and spacious location house to photograph them all in.
We put forward a variety of houses that had the open plan layout needed for the shoot and enough space to accommodate a cast and crew of over 17 people. We also carefully selected a range of models that suited the clients target demographic from which they could choose their favourites.
The client wanted a light, airy feel for the photography so we mixed flash with ambient light to create a natural, but beautiful look to the images.
The plan was to shoot all the models in all four seasons so we worked closely with the stylist and hair and makeup team to make sure that while we were shooting one scene the models for the next were already getting prepped for the following one. For each season we varied the lighting setup to give it either a bright sunny look or a more subtle softer look for Winter.
As with any large scale shoot preparation is the key to making it a success and then end result is a testament how much hard work the team at CliQQ and the client put in beforehand.
Working with Olly, Ant and all the team at CliQQ Photography is always such a pleasure! We recently did a location shoot with the team for photographs to be used for our 2015 marketing campaign. They took our brief and ran with it and the results were absolutely fantastic! We have used the images for magazine adverts and features, packaging and exhibition graphics to name but a few and they have received such a positive reaction. I would highly recommend CliQQ photography – talented, professional and beautiful results every time!
